Endorsements & letters of support
I am proud to have the Minnesota DFL’s letter of support for my campaign. While city council elections are nonpartisan in nature, I feel strongly that constituents should have an idea of my values. Much of the work I have done while on Council has been aligned with the values of the DFL — such as passing a separation ordinance preventing ICE from staging on Robbinsdale property and working to increase transparency regarding Flock cameras and the privacy concerns they raise.
Simultaneously, I want to assure voters that this support will not prevent me from making unbiased decisions on Council. So many of the agenda items we vote on are truly nonpartisan, as they should be. I want to hear what YOU prioritize in Robbinsdale. Just know that I am coming from a lens that values all voices.

“I’ve really appreciated the opportunity to serve alongside Alejandro. When the Ward 4 seat opened, our Council took the appointment process seriously. We reviewed applications, conducted eight interviews, and ultimately unanimously selected Alejandro to serve. Since joining the Council, he has brought a thoughtful, open-minded approach and a genuine willingness to listen to residents and engage with the community.
What has stood out to me most is how approachable Alejandro is. He cares deeply about Robbinsdale, he asks great questions, and he takes the responsibility of representing his neighbors seriously.
